Fostering Advocates Arizona is all about advocacy. Here’s a look at our Young Adult Leadership Board:

Not to brag (okay, maybe a little), but our Young Adult Leadership Board includes interesting and talented young adults. They’ve experienced foster care and now want to help others as they navigate the transition from foster care to adulthood. They’re pretty awesome!

What We Do

Active since 2012, our goal is to improve the transition from foster care to adulthood in Arizona. To achieve this we:

  • Create advocacy plans to improve foster care in Arizona
  • Give testimony about foster care at the Arizona Legislature
  • Represent young adults in foster care during presentations at community forums and conferences
  • Plan community events to increase awareness about support services and resources available to young adults leaving foster care
  • Participate in monthly board meetings

How To Get Involved

Are you a young adult who has experienced foster care and wants to advocate for yourself and others? Are you interested in building your resume, expanding your professional network and making new friends? Then check out the Fostering Advocates Arizona Young Adult Leadership Board.
