(WIC) Women, Infant and Children Helplines: The Arizona Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides nutrition education and breastfeeding support services, supplemental nutritious foods and referrals to health and social services. WIC serves pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women; infants; and children under the age of five who are determined to be at nutritional risk. Cash Assistance: Cash Assistance helps families meet their basic needs for well-being and safety and serves as their path to self-sufficiency. The Cash Assistance program provides temporary cash benefits and supportive services to the neediest of Arizona’s children and their families. See if you qualify for Cash Assistance Program here.

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Healthcare (NOAH) is a community health center operating nine sites in Arizona. NOAH provides accessible, affordable, and confidential care of individuals and families. They offer medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

Looking for child care? Quality First, a signature program of First Things First, partners with regulated early childhood providers in Arizona to help young children thrive. Through the Quality First website, you can find information about the importance of finding quality care early, educational resources, and what to look for in child care and preschool settings that promote learning. From paying for child care to choosing a provider, Quality First has the resources. Click here to search for a quality rated provider in your area.
Children’s Information Center Hotline: The Office of Children’s Health supports the importance of early childhood programs. The Office provides services to children and their families who are at risk for developmental delay, metabolic/genetic disorders, or hearing impairment. Services are provided to clients directly or through a contractor. The Office also supports increased access to care for pregnant women and infants, best practices related to the early identification of developmental delays, and access to appropriate interventions: 1-800-232-1676
Birth to Five Helpline: The Birth to Five Helpline is a free service open to all Arizona families with young children looking for the latest child development information from experts in the field. Call the Helpline to speak with one of their bilingual (English/Spanish) early childhood specialists, on duty Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 1-877-705-KIDS (5437)

Each Free Family Weekend features an opportunity to learn about and make art with a featured local Valley artist, from muralists to dancers and more.
