For the month of May, to show our support for Foster Care Month, we will be highlighting young adults and sharing their experiences as an advocate for foster youth. Read Ashley’s story below:
“I’m going to school to follow my passions and make a change in the lives of our youth.”
Ashley is currently attending University of Arizona, and is pursuing her degree in Social Work and in Graphic Design. From her experience in foster care, she is passionate about helping others by providing input on how foster care can better meet the needs of youth. She is looking forward to turning her advocacy skills into action, as she speaks with foster families on the importance of fostering young adults.
