If you’re in ILP, you could receive:
- $100 for completing high school or a General Education Development (GED) program
- $100 for earning a certificate or license from an accredited vocational/trade school or skills center that is less than six months long
- $250 for completing a certificate or license from an accredited vocational/trade school or skills center that’s more than six months long
- $500 for graduating with an associate’s degree from a two-year community college, junior college or vocational/trade program or earning the equivalent of 48 credit hours toward successful completion of a two-year degree when you turn 21 or leave foster care (also called “case closure”)
- $1,000 for earning the equivalent of 72 credit hours toward successful completion of a four-year degree when you turn 21 or leave foster care (also called “case closure”)
- $1,500 for graduating with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university when you turn 21 or leave foster care (also called “case closure”)
